Like the last reviewer, I was under the impression that this would be clowns and vader.......however, it moved on and made me laugh for each part of Vaders day.

The very fact that Star Wars sounds were used was most funny. Vaders abrupt approach made it class.

Fabulous idea, well executed.

One area that you could improve on though would be the audio. See if you can get hold of a decent sound editor program to help you. This with a bit of time, should help you to eliminate the niggling little audio pops and such like.

Anyhow, top stuff.

Fantastic animation with a good plot, a nice pay-off and some lovely voice work too.

Class parts include :-

SRD running with his gammy legs.
The villain flying in the air all stumpy like, then crash landing.

Fabulous.

"I know the time these things take..............."

As a maker of this style of flash (see my sci-fi rocks as an example), I know exactly how much effort needs to be put in. Not only in animation and synching, but the main effort is in finding the source material.

So I will say this. It was worth the time as it made people laugh.
Some very good effects in there too just to mix it up a bit.

Random things like the trebuchet moment and Charlie walking made me laugh. So top stuff.

I won't score as a 10 because I always think that animations generally on here are either undermarked or overmarked (and that includes my own animations). I will say though that as a fan of lost and of comedy in general.......this is up there and I found it great.

Some cool references too to other genres.

Forget all of those other illiterate gimps (who are normally 14). You know as soon as someone writes "Jooo suck !!!!!" they have no brain power to deal with decent reasoning and judgement.

I look forward to more flash efforts like this, because they're on my wavelength.

Like myself, you have a certain level of artwork that is good but not great. But that's not where your strengths lie.

I want to mention the great directorial work here, with the camera angles shifting etc. There were plenty of scenes with new and fresh ideas in there. The fight scenes were smooth and interesting to watch and although some of the frame by frame animations looked a bit awry (read the bit where the guy turns his head and his hat seems to change sizes) this was overall, marvellously done.

I too have had a front page (2) this week that I never asked for, all I did was to make an animation and click submit. There are so many w@nk-sticks here who are too quick to judge and not only that, judge too harshly based in immediate reaction. Animations it seems are not judged on their merits/de-merits.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I thought overall this was tremendous work and that I look forward to seeing more of your enigmatic style.
